Google+ for business replaced Google Places and Google Maps in April 2013.  This page looks a lot like a facebook page and functions very much the same way.  Google+ business pages are featured on all Google local search. Top results get a great deal of traffic, direct phone calls to their primary business line, customer reviews, detailed information and photos.  Effective Local Search SEO can promote a page to the top of even the most competitive keywords.  This is a huge opportunity to increase sales in only one step.

Google+ is Google’s version of facebook, users can connect with circles of contacts,  post content to their timeline and do most of the same things as facebook.  Facebook has a huge head start in the market for social connections but, Google has an unlimited budget, and all the advertising connections on earth.  Ultimately Google will catch up with facebook.

No one can deny that facebook has changed the way people communicate.  It has reconnected distant friends and close friends use it for daily contact.  People pass information around and networking through facebook has become big business.  The facebook page has become a must for every business large and small; however using it to build business successfully is a very tricky venture.  Getting more “likes” on a facebook page doesn’t magically create new business.  They can lead to new business but directing traffic is as important as getting it in the first place.

Email marketing is as old as the Internet.  We all hate SPAM and a poorly executed email campaign is worse than no email campaign at all.  A well conceived, nice looking, relevant email campaign, sent to people who have agreed to receive it can be very effective.  MailChimp is the number one name in great email. Full html emails delivered from trusted servers and designed to get past spam filters.  Great list management and the feedback from every campaign is incredible.  MailChimp is very powerful, the downside is that the learning curve is pretty high.  I have paid the price and can set everything up and provide turnkey service that you can run and succeed with.
